Creating a workspace

Custodos is designed for one workspace per company, so that seats, knowledge and billing belong together. If your company already uses Custodos, ask its admins for an invitation instead of creating a second workspace.

If the admins of an existing workspace have restricted invitations to your email domain, Custodos points this out while you create a workspace: Your company already uses Custodos, followed by the name of that workspace.

   Sign in

   Sign in as described under Signing in.

   Enter your name

   The first time you sign in, Custodos asks for Your name under First, your account. Your team sees this name. Click Continue.

   Enter the company name

   On the page Create your workspace, enter the Company name. It becomes the name of the workspace.

   Accept the terms

   Tick the box: this accepts the terms of service including the data processing agreement and confirms that you have read the privacy policy. Without the tick no workspace is created. More on the agreement under Data processing agreement.

   Create

   Click Create workspace. The workspace is ready straight away, and you are its admin.

Every new workspace starts with a trial. A notice at the top of the workspace shows how many days are left, for example Trial: 5 days left.

A new workspace is usable at once because Custodos creates it with fixed starting values. Admins can change each of them later.

• The Processing region is set to EU + Switzerland.
• The chat models of the groups Frontier and Open models that run in this region are enabled, as are the image models of this region.
• The protection level for personal data is Standard: detected personal data is replaced with placeholders before sending.
• Chats are kept until someone deletes them. No automatic deletion period is set.
• Members may share chats within the workspace.

Once the trial is over, Custodos shows the notice The trial has ended. For your team to keep working, the workspace needs a plan. The plans are described under Plans and seats.

One person can belong to several workspaces, for example a trial workspace and their company's workspace. All of them are listed in the Account settings under Workspaces; clicking a name opens that workspace.

You can delete a trial workspace you no longer need yourself there, as long as you are its admin and only member and nothing has ever been billed. Details are under Your account.
