Sharing agents

You set sharing in the Visibility field. New agents start as Private (only me). In the list under Agents, a label on each agent shows which level applies.

   Open the agent

   In the list under Agents, click the pencil icon Edit on the agent. It only appears on agents you may change.

   Choose the level

   Under Configure, in the Sharing section, choose the Visibility.

   Select people

   With Selected people, the list People with access appears. Find colleagues via Search by name or e-mail… and add them. Admins and you always have access and do not need to be selected.

   Click Save. The new sharing only applies from then on.

People an agent is shared with can start chats with it but cannot change it. Only the person who created it and the workspace admins can edit it, change its sharing or delete it.

Agents others share with you are on the Shared tab. An agent you are not allowed to see does not show up anywhere, not even in search. That holds for admins too: other people's private agents stay hidden from them and cannot be edited by them.

If an agent has a brain attached, each person only gets answers from the brains they are allowed to read themselves. The permissions of the person who created the agent do not pass to anyone else.

Custodos checks this again with every message. If a brain's sharing is tightened, the agent stops using it for the people affected from their next message. Anyone attaching brains to an agent can only choose from brains they can read themselves. How brain permissions work is described under Brain permissions.
