Is Langdock GDPR-compliant?

Langdock hosts in the EU, provides a data processing agreement, states that it does not use customer data for training and is certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. Those are solid technical and organisational preconditions. Whether your specific deployment complies with the GDPR depends, as with any platform, on your own assessment – the same applies to Custodos.

When Switzerland is involved: A Swiss base, Swiss clients or an internal rule on the processing location: then the choice between the EU and Switzerland is not a convenience but the precondition for the project starting at all.
When professional secrecy sets the frame: Law firms, fiduciary companies, practices: Custodos is designed for professions under a statutory duty of confidentiality and names the provisions of all three countries.
When the price per head counts: Across 40 seats, a €10 difference is around €4,800 a year, if Mini covers your usage. On Business, Custodos at €30 sits above Langdock's €25 – the processing location and governance decide from there.

Custodos supplies the technical preconditions for handling your data confidentially. The legal assessment in each individual case remains with your organisation.

What speaks for Langdock

Langdock is the more mature provider, and that deserves to be said here. The company has been on the market longer, runs larger deployments and has a correspondingly broader feature set. If you are based in Germany, have no Swiss requirement and want to roll out a thousand seats, Langdock is a very good choice.
